Hello all-
Just a quick update here at UMM as 2nd street in Morris is currently being torn up for some (much-needed!) repairs. (Don't worry though- we should have it all ready for the fall and our matches).
Coaching staff update- We are excited to say that Heather Pennie will be shifting from softball mode this past spring back to volleyball mode soon (I hope!) and will be back for her 13th season on the bench. We also added Casey Stott, former UMM Cougar volleyball player to the coaching ranks. Casey is a senior, and I believe is majoring in math, secondary education and she brings a wealth of volleyball knowledge to the program as well!
Welcome back Heather and welcome aboard Casey!!
Just got back from working some camps, had lots of fun working with a couple different groups of kids (but definitely yearn to work with my team and appreciate their skill level after working some of these camps!). Had some very talented kids at the camps though, including one of our top 2011 recruits that I had 3 days to work with at a camp-- I was even more impressed with her when I got the chance to work with her at camp then I have been watching from the stands!
