Hi, everyone! I'm a freshman this year and I was very nervous about starting college and volleyball at the same time. I was scared to leave home and leave my family. I never thought I would find a group of people who could somehow take their place, but I definitely have.
My team is remarkable and they don't just care about how I play on the court. They support me everywhere--on and off the court. I am absolutely thrilled to be part of this team.
On Tuesday night we headed to the Cities to play Waldorf and North Central University. We started against Waldorf and lost in four games. We were down after that, but we shook it off, did some cheers to get pumped up, ate some fruit and came back on the court to beat North Central in three games!
It was nice to end the evening on a good note. After that we had some delicious food at Davani's. I had the chicken alfredo pasta--just in case anybody wanted to know.
In practice this week we've been working very hard getting ready for our home match against Northwestern on Friday night. We hope to see a lot of fans there. I can't wait!!! It's going to be a great game.
